FYI. Emmylou Harris gave a radio interview yesterday (6/25) in Atlanta on WMLB in which she said that the first ten days in December have been booked in Buddy Miller's home studio in Nashville and that she, Patty, Buddy and Shawn Colvin are each bringing four songs to the project for a new compilation CD.
For you Emmylou fans, you might be interested in knowing that she also said that she's working on her own new album, which is being produced by Jay Joyce (does THAT name ring a bell, Patty fans?) and that she's written 10 songs for it.... I'm unsure, but think it's very possible that Patty will provide some harmony vocals for Emmylou's album.
